Telecom networks are evolving rapidly with 5G, cloud, and automation, but so are cyber threats. Sophisticated adversaries are now targeting telecom infrastructure with advanced persistent threats (APTs), leveraging AI-driven malware, signaling attacks, and deep network infiltration techniques. These threats are often designed for espionage, data exfiltration, and long-term persistence, bypassing traditional security defenses.
Generative AI (GenAI) is a powerful tool in telecom security – helping predict, detect, and respond to emerging threats with greater speed and accuracy. But how do CSPs move beyond hype and deploy GenAI-driven security at scale? This session dives into the practical applications of GenAI in cybersecurity, showcasing how telecom providers can stay ahead of evolving threats with AI-driven security operations.
